These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the dog waste removal services (“Service”) provided by [Your Business Name] (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By signing up for our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Billing Policy
- Recurring Services: For recurring customers, the credit card on file will be charged automatically on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month of service.
- One-Time Services: A $60 deposit is required at booking. After service is completed, the card on file will be charged for the remaining balance due.
- Failed Payments: If payment fails, service will be paused immediately until resolved. We do not provide credits for missed cleanings due to failed payments.
- Grace Period: You have 30 days to resolve any payment issues. After 30 days, your account will be removed from our system.
- Reinstatement: If service is reinstated after 30 days, a $60 one-time cleaning fee will be applied to cover the accumulated waste between cleanings.
- Collections: Accounts unpaid after 30 days will be sent to collections.
- Either party may terminate service (in writing) at any time. Unpaid balances are due within 15 days.
2. Skipped Scoops
As the client, you are responsible for maintaining safe access into and out of the yard (if we are unable to clean due to access, you will be charged for that cleanup), immediate notification of any changes in the number of pets and prompt payment of balances due. Your yard may be skipped without credit or refund under the following conditions:
- Locked/Inaccessible Yard – If the gate is locked or otherwise inaccessible.
- Dogs in the Yard – For safety, we cannot enter if dogs are present.
- Obstructions – If your yard contains excessive debris, very tall grass, or leaves that prevent us from spotting waste, we will skip that service.
In all skipped cases, service will resume the following week with a double-duty cleanup (two weeks of accumulated waste). No credits will be given. If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know in advance to pause the service.
3. Holidays and Service Interruptions
We observe the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- Independence Day
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- New Year’s Day
If your scheduled service falls on one of these holidays, your service will be resumed on the next available day.
4. Weather Policy
Safety is our top priority. We will not scoop in the following conditions:
- Severe weather (lightning, hail, high winds, heavy rain, etc.)
- Ice accumulation or flooding
- Extremely high temperatures
In these cases, service will be skipped and resumed either the next day if possible on that day's schedule, or the following week with a double-duty cleanup.
- Refunds are not offered under the monthly subscription model. You will instead receive a bill credit for the missed service if not done in the same service week (if you are a Saturday appointment, and make your day up on Sunday, you will still be billed for the following Saturday's service as normal).
- Accumulated waste will be addressed at the next scheduled visit.
- If you require an emergency pickup, please contact us. If we can accommodate your request within our route, we will add you to the schedule.
4. Pricing and Promotion Changes
All pricing, service fees, and promotional offers are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company. Any adjustments will be communicated to active customers in advance whenever possible.
5. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling or paying for services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, with notice provided to active customers.
